Events:

Plant Sale - Veronica, Jim Harris and Brenda Henderson

Dessert Auction - need team to organize, Jane says this needs to change, will re-visit

Fall Fair - need team to organize, Jim to contact judges, Veronica has brochure ideas

Tasks:

Perennial propagation - Jim to continue

Apple pruning - Jim to continue - could have a pruning workshop

Blog - Marla to take over from Jen Cluff - could let people know what we’ve done and what we’ve harvested and what’s coming up on Saturday  www.digsgarden.blogspot.ca

Promotion - Jurgen - be more public with what we’re doing, pro-isle, facebook

Watering seminar - how to drain hoses, turn off the wand, water the soil not the plants

Allotment bed sabbatical extension:  Chuck Butler would like to keep his allotment bed even though he is not feeling up to using it this year, for the second year. He has offered to pay for it and let the garden use it. After some discussion the directors decided to accept his offer.

Directors Meetings:  we will meet more often, quarterly or by request, as needed
